Do you want to make a difference in someone else’s life?
Will you give 10 months
of your life to make a “forever difference” in someone else’s?
Each year, Baptist Collegiate Ministries of Chattanooga recruits and hires one or two
Collegiate Ministry Interns. These persons then serve alongside the Campus Minister to minister on two
College/University campuses, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and Chattanooga State Technical Community College.
Interested applicants are usually recent college graduates,
current seminary students or recent seminary graduates. They must have a passion for making a difference
and a willingness to immerse themselves completely in the lives of others for the duration of their 10 month term of service
(usually July 1-May 1 but sometimes changed to accommodate the needs of the applicant). This is not a regular
9-5, 40 hour a week job. It is a commitment to missions in one of the worlds most engaging and challenging
environments….the college and university campus.
These
positions are paid positions, funded by a combination of North American Mission Board, Tennessee Baptist Convention and local
funds. As such, all applicants must complete the necessary background check and drug screen. Housing, utilities,
laundry & internet access are usually provided in addition to your financial stipend.
